Our top pick scored in both and while that accounted for good value at Keeneland we might have been better off if Irish Colonial hadn't gotten up at Belmont. We have to assume the tri payout would have been juicer with the fave underneath.
Still, as has been the case recently we move forward with confidence since the picks seem solid and we're just a few feet from having a big afternoon. Perhaps it's coming on racing's biggest day, the Breeders' Cup next Saturday. We'll see.
