Two winners on top in six races (Gulfstream, $4.20; Oaklawn, 3.80). Aqueduct stymied us again this week. We left the winner, Boston Park, out of our mix -- and looking at the weird way the race was run, with the winner getting away with thieve-like fractions, we have to wonder if Boston Park would manage another win if this same race was run ten more times. He had shown no success around two turns and really hadn't lived up to some early promise shown last summer. About the only pro was having DW Lukas as trainer -- and we all know that D Wayne can surprise in these 3YO races.
Kind of split things at Gulfstream, with our top pick doing little in the grass event, and yet we grabbed a small gimmick in the dirt stake. In the midwest, we ran first and third with our only two picks in the short field at Oaklawn. While Fair Grounds provided our best hit of the afternoon when we collected the exacta ($106.20/$2) and tri ($266.60/$2). Finally, we only went two deep at Santa Anita with a short field in their stake and our top two came through to score our single quinella wager.

Attfield entry...Small Promises is preferred with a solid 3-2-1-0 record at the trip and going-well form. Tuff Chick however has run well on occasion.
Softly.

Sightseek 4-5
Bella Bellucci 3-1
Wager: $20 quinella Sightseek/Got Koko.

Sightseek...Believe that Frankel's got a budding star here and filly went well last time to get nipped by Affluent. Should be a little tighter and might prefer this trip.
Got Koko...Clearly they've got this one going right now.
