Only four winers on top in fourteen races but the value allowed for a 36% ROI on the WIN end (Aqueduct, $5.90; Calder, $20.00; Sam Houston, $10.00, $2.20). We also tabbed a couple of exactas cold (Aqueduct, $19.00/$2) -- however one of those was the remarkably piddling Take Charge Lady/Mystic Lady gimmick which paid $2.60/$2. Frankly, when you look at the "will pays" and see that, head for the hot dog stand and get a better return on your investment.

We also managed to hit four tri's on the afternoon -- two of those with our top three picks. There were also some other gimmicks among the plays.

Overall it was an OK day but we were a score or two away from a good day.

High Ideal...Can't ignore Wolfson. Cutback in distance is a question mark but this one is 2-1-1-0 at the trip and is coming off a nice win.
Tour Of The Cat...Probable fave after nice stakes win here last time. But some concern of a bounce and question about the distance.
