We wound up with only three races in play as the turf stake at Hollywood was washed onto the soupy main track. No winners on top Saturday afternoon although in both NY and Florida our top two picks flip-flopped for the exacta. We also managed to grab the tri at Aqueduct. The payoffs from those two races were enough to offset the loss incurred at Churchill as we totally ignored the winner there...

Strawberry Blonde...Didn't meet with much success in France this year but managed a decent alw win last out in US debut for Clement. The trainer's main rider sticks with his other runner in here but switch to Bailey can't hurt. Distance is something of a question mark -- might want more ground but we'll give the benefit of the doubt this time.
Babae...Capable on best but it's hard to know when the best will show up. A little unpredictable but should be close to the pace and might get first jump on the others. Dangerous but beatable.
Love N Kiss S...Clement's other runner is a solid 3-2-1-0 in an abbreviated 2002 season. Makes third start of fall campaign and might prove tough.
Silver Rail.
Madeira Mist 2-1
Maliziosa 1-2
Shrimp Tempura 34-1
David's Doll scratched.
Wager: $5 WP on Maliziosa.
Collected $5.50 on the WP (xxx, 2.20).

...$2 tri key Maliziosa over next three.
Ran 2/1-6.
...$1 tri box top four.
Ran 1-2-6.
Maliziosa...Mott runner has been facing better this year and ran second last time in Calder Oaks against the good Cellars Shiraz. Looks tough.
Madeira Mist...Clement ships in from NY. Testing stakes waters for first time, but this really isn't a tough stake. Expect a good performance.
David's Doll...2-2 since returning from a freshening.
Romancin Dixie.
Softly 23-1
Bare Necessities 6-1
Victory Ride 4-1
Wager: $5 WP on Victory Ride.

...$2 exacta box top two.
Ran 3-7.
...$1 exacta box top four.
Ran 3-7-8-9.
...$1 tri box top four.
Ran 3-7-8-9.
Victory Ride...Hmmm, this pick could flop big-time but... Since returning from a break she outclassed a $48K stakes field in Jersey and then faded badly in the G1 Spinster. Neither start was up to her former tries. Therefore she should offer value. We're just looking at this as third start back, speed shown in first two -- maybe she's primed and ready to carry the speed a one-turn mile here.
Trip...The Beyer in last looks a little flukey. We'll take it as a sign she's in form but we don't expect a repeat number that high.
Habibti...Baffert/Thoroughbred Corp 3YO certainly looked promising last year. Not as impressive in four tries this season but appears capable of regaining form.
Red n'Gold.
Sentimental Value 5-2
Secret Garden 6-1
Company B 3-1
Off the turf...No wagering
Wager: $5 WP on Megahertz.
...$2 exacta box top two.
...$1 exacta box top four, sub next if scratch.
...$1 tri box top four, sub next if scratch.
Megahertz...Frankel filly had a super season going until flopp-o at Keeneland last time. Let's excuse due to brief layoff and course condition and look for return to previous form.
Kithira...Distance is a little scary as this one faded at nine panels two back. But the improved Beyer last time might indicate better things to come today.
Crousille...Closed nicely last time to finish one behind Kithira.
