15041 attended. Again - weather nice, sunny and warm - slightly humid.

FIRST RACE
Sheppard entry...Three for the price of one - with Martini Brother preferred off of the closing win here on 7/25.
Mr Hot Stuff...Big win in G1 Smithwick makes him the one to beat.
Demonstrative...Defending champ missed Smithwick with slight fever. Won a G1 earlier this year off of a layoff.
All Together.

SECOND RACE
Free Release...Win-early sire and trainer. Sib Briteliteinthecity was 3rd of 7 in career debut last year as the 20-1 rank outsider.
Foxbeau...Another win-early type.
My Jimmy Chew Girl...Same - this time from Pletcher.
Two Step Flor.

THIRD RACE - Alydar $100K
Csaba...Curious to see if he might revert to top form from late last year and earlier this year with the move from grade company.
Percussion...Might take them all the way. Dangerous.
Easter Gift...Solid in 2013.

FOURTH RACE
Polecat...Precociousness via sire and trainer. Also - dam produced at least one first-out winning sib, Feeling Fancy.
Speed Read...Violette with a firster at SAR - dangerous.
Push Ups...AE list. In from out-of-town to face state-breds in debut.
Whirlin.
Sandcat.

FIFTH RACE
El Season...Sheppard trainee gets back to preferred surface. Velazquez sticks.
Native Wave...Also moving back to turf and has some competitive numbers a few starts back.
Horvat Clan...Maker-Ramsey off the claim. Probably needs to step up a little - but has back numbers that say that's possible.

SIXTH RACE
Z Dager...On the class relief.
Rodriguez entry...Formulaforsuccess first off claim for Rudy. Cheyenne Nation - same scenario.
Attractive Ride...Could be the speed.
Coach Royal.

SEVENTH RACE
Best Friends...Interesting firster - sprinting on turf for Sheppard.
Reign...Win early punch.
Sky Painter...McLaughlin upset a similar race yesterday with a firster by Street Cry.
Super Sky.

EIGHTH RACE
Free as a Bird...Seems to have a slight Beyer-edge on these.
Puzzling...Should be rolling late.
Mariel N Kathy...Could be the one to catch.
Floral Romance.
Malibu Yankee.

NINTH RACE
Notmyfirstime...Could be primed off of the latest.
Wee Freudian...Numbers seem to make him the one to beat - although might be better on dirt.
Quick Money...In the mix more often than not.
