Don't forget to check out the Challenge page where we started the month with a mythical $1200 bankroll and attempt to increase that amount as the Saratoga season continues.

Yesterday

2-10. Winners in the 4th [3.60] and 10th [5.70]. And - it was one of those days - six, yes six, of our "B" second selections won. Ooooff. The sting would have been taken out of that if our "A" top pick in the 5th, Sakonnet Point from Sheppard, could have held on at 7-1. That one had the lead for much of the stretch and was just nipped in the shadow of the wire. [We did manage a nice $58.00/$2 B-A reverse exacta in that race - but it would have been much better the other way around]. So, it really was one of those days.

Other gimmicks: R3 .. BDAC x 27.80 t 78.50 s 307.00; R4 ... ADB x 37.40 t 118.50.

16862 attended. Temps have moderated and it was comfortable and sunny. Friday crowds populated the neighboring post-race watering holes - and downtown Saratoga was alive well into the wee hours.

Today

NBC Sports Network will broadcast live from Saratoga, 5-6pmET.

FIRST RACE
Caixa Eletronica...One of the all-time great claims - claimed for $62.5K at GP on 3/9/11 by Repole/Pletcher. Seems like a cozy fit in this condition.
Point Taken...Seems in the mix among the next two or three.
Au Moon...Has won last two dirt starts.
Metarus.

SECOND RACE
Stroll to Victory...Has some precocious breeding. Sib Maileys Cat was second in debut - then won a stake. Sib Choco Ale won first two of career - albeit in S America.
Indigo Kitten/Ramsey entry...Nature and nuture at work.
Divorce Party...More win-early type breeding. Sib Dom was third in first start, then won next out.
Mexikoma.

THIRD RACE
Bay of Biscay...Expensive yearling purchase from the Pletcher barn.
Sky Drama...Not unusual that Asmussen trainees improve.
Twang...Another that might benefit from the debut effort.
A Touch of Poetry.

FOURTH RACE
Unitarian...Always a little dicey taking a multiple-time loser like this - but seems improved on turf and slightly best on the numbers.
Tiz Nasty...Might be interesting with the move to turf.
Mr Jenney...Won't be surprised if he rebounds closer to the debut effort.
Federal Agent.

FIFTH RACE - Prioress G1 $300K
Kauai Katie...Likes the track and trip.
Wildcat Lily...Comes on off of a win in a salty CRC sprint.
So Many Ways...Ran well here last year.
Irish Lute.

SIXTH RACE
Shankopotamus...Takes a little bit of a drop for Repole.
Alcomatch...Also dropping for crafty claiming connections.
Winning Touch...Back class but comeback effort makes this one a wild-card in here.
Equivocation.

SEVENTH RACE
Favor Factor...Could be ready to pop in here.
Balthazar...Needs to rebound to that career-debut effort -- and looks primed to do that.
Cantonic...Ran a lifetime best Beyer here last year.
Death Star.
Craving Carats.

EIGHTH RACE
Film Shot...Been knocking on the door in similar company last two.
Plainview...The one to catch?
Z Dager...Last was a little bit of a dud - but prior starts were good.
Eternal Ruler.

NINTH RACE G1 $600K Diana
Stephanie's Kitten...Solid in two 2013 starts.
Dream Peace...Euro-import from Chad Brown has been able to seal the deal over here yet - but perhaps the best US start was in this race last year.
Centre Court...Expect improvement from the troubled trip last time.
Dayatthespa.

TENTH RACE - G2 $600K Jim Dandy
Mylute...Been following this one all year and it seems like the talent is there. With the come-from-behind style things have to break his way - but pace should be conducive.
Palace Malice...This one had his breakthrough in the G1 Belmont and is likely the one to beat.
Code West...Baffert trainee is another looking for a breakthrough and is certainly capable.
Perfect Title.

ELEVENTH RACE
Christiesborntorun...Serious class drop - red flags - but could be shopping for a Saratoga win. We'll see...
Jess Not Jesse...AE list. Might have a Beyer edge on most of these.
Writingonthewall...Won at this level three back.
Shotgun City.
Shmooz Talker.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halves are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
