4-10. Winners in the 2nd [$6.50], 4th [$4.80], 7th [$3.70] and 9th [$4.30]. Also, in R1 B-C-A for exacta [$55.00/$2] and tri [$144.00]. In R4 it was a cold A-B-C finish for the exacta [$20.80] and tri [$50.50]. A B-A-D-C finish in R5 for the exacta [$16.00], tri [$51.00], and super [$106.00]. C-A-D in R6 for the exacta [$23.40] and tri [$97.00]. And an A-C exacta in the 9th [$13.40].

16,902 attended. Weather-wise it was another excellent day, warm and sunny.

FIRST RACE G1 $150K NY Turf Writers
Left Unsaid... Comebacker was good - but can he string two together off of that long layoff?
Divine Fortune/Nationbuilder...Divine Fortune is preferred. This guy won the Smithwick and then faltered in the Turf Writers the last two years. So why use after a dud in this year's Smithwick? Just think he might be better than this bunch.
Demonstrative...Nice win on the course early in the meet.

SECOND RACE
Saginaw...Stakes-level performer finds a cozy spot here.
Strapping Groom...In good form. Won similar last time.
Itsagoodtendollars...Also in good form but probably has to step it up a little.
Indy Scent.

THIRD RACE
He Ain't Bluffing...Gets the nod on the MSW to mdn clm move - as well as keeping Dominguez onboard, and the 8/1 bullet.
Curve Ball...Best last race Beyer - and a solid 81 at that.
Espiritu Libre...Another making the potent move from MSW.

FOURTH RACE
Spring Warrior...Just missed in a similar race last time - now first off claim for Asmussen.
D'tiger...Seems in good form and finds class relief here. Could run away from these but I'll take a slight stand against on the cutback - which sometimes is tough in these turf sprints.
Torment...Trainer having a solid meet and good off the claim.
Quick to Strike.

FIFTH RACE
Wandering Kitten...Drops off of the claim for owner Repole.
Southern Joy...Also finding some serious class relief.
Current Design...Probably well-spotted second off the claim.
Griffin Rock.

SIXTH RACE
Aidenandabettin...This is a full-sib to Square Eddie. That one took three to win - in Europe - but subsequently won a KEE G1 and finished second in the BC Juvie (2008).
Sayaad...Could prove tough if in from AE list.
Central Banker...By Speightstown - should have gotten some education out of the debut.

SEVENTH RACE
Lunar Victory...Hard to fault the 4-race win-streak.
Self Control...Solid 2012 season.
Arthur's Tale...Showed promise last year and has shown flashes since.

EIGHTH RACE
Pianist...Faltered as the chalk in a similar race last time. One more chance.
Antonia Autumn...Got some education vs winners last time.
Kitty Wine...Usually in the hunt.
Raise the Flag.

NINTH RACE
Yes She Rules...Numbers improving.
Villanella...Might be more properly spotted today.
Belle Gallantey...Interesting on the move from SoCal.
Gold Love.
