Yesterday

3-11. A decent day with the weather and class level keeping many public handicappers from stringing too many together. Winners in the 2nd [$11.00], 4th [$5.20], and 11th [$5.00].

Also, B-A-C in the 1st for exacta [$31.60/$2] and tri[$114.00]. A-D-B in the 2nd for exacta [$42.00] and tri [$171.00]. A-C-D-B in the 11th for the exacta [$17.80], tri [$43.80] and super [$106.50].

26,782 turned out despite some dicey weather. A downpour hit the track early in the day knocking R10 off of the turf -- all other turf races [save for the featured Fourstardave - which stayed on] were moved off prior to R1. The first shower let up, another brief shower hit shortly afterward, but then the sun popped out and winked on and off throughout the afternoon. Speed ruled on the main track.

Downtown was jammed with fun-seekers late-late into the night.

Palace...Attracted a decent price after working 10.0 prior to auction last year. Belated debut was a good foundation. Two solid works since.
Lakota Freud...AE. Faded a littel bit last time - but two prior were OK. Notesfromabroad...Should flash some speed.

Giant Cats Eye...Should benefit from the education.
Gustavia...More first-out type breeding.

EIGHTH RACE
Glamour N Glory...Should be rolling late - but that might not be the style on this course.
Off Limits...Showeed some promise in turf debut.

On dirt: same plus, Draw It, And Why Not, Tapit Dancer, Glorietta Bay, Expression.

NINTH RACE
Anchovy...Might go better than last time with blinkers.
Stone Maker...Improved on the drop.
Meghan's Fury...In for a tag.
Fruttidimare.

TENTH RACE - G2 $200K Adirondack
Kauai Katie...Clearly the one to beat.
Salamera..In off of a stakes win at CRC.
Cayllano...Two daylight wins - including a stake.
Vitameta.

ELEVENTH RACE - G2 $200K Saratoga Special
Drum Roll...Could be interesting as the longer-price Pletcher.
Shanghai Bobby...Already a stakes winner.
Spurious Precision...Debut was impressive.
