Yesterday

3-9. Winners in the 1st [$4.00], 5th [$5.20] and 9th [$9.30]. Cold exactas in the 5th [$21.60/$2] and 9th [$38.00]. In the 4th it was the second over third selection for the exacta [$55.50/$2] with the top pick wrapping up the tri [$167.00].

A slim [by Saratoga standards] crowd of 9,166 braved the rain. An overcast and threatening morning became a drizzly afternoon. It was wet and cool - not cold, but not as comfortable temp-wise as it has been. The rain was never particularly heavy - but it was steady and started to come down harder as the afternoon progressed. By the time the feature rolled around there was enough precip to make folks search for shelter.
