3-10. Off the schneid! ... And we rooted home that 9-5 shot top-pick in Wednesday's opener like it was the last leg of a winning P6! Winners in the 1st [$5.80], 5th [14.00] and 9th [9.20].

Also, small reverse exactas in the 6th and 8th [R5, $10.00/$2; R8 $10.40]. Second and third choice combined for the $23.00 exacta in the 2nd. And top selection over third pick in the 9th [$34.80].

A solid mid-week crowd of 17,338 enjoyed another nice day weather-wise.

FIRST RACE - Mrs Phipps $70K
Opera Heroine....Took a maiden race all the way on the front-end here on open house day. Why not right back?
Lonesome Nun...Consistently competitive the last five over the jumps.
Upper Gulch...Figured it out last time.
Beating the Odds.

SECOND RACE
Cinder Cone...Has good early speed. A win over the track last year. Must clear the one just to his inside.
Summer Share...Needs best effort - and no guarantee we'll get it. But might appreciate the move into the "B" claimer.
Most Happy Fella...Could challenge the top pick for the early lead.
Awesome Review.

THIRD RACE
Sharp Tongue Lady...Lightly-raced but has shown flashes.
Indian Tale...Could be interesting first-off the claim for Dutrow.
Queen's Harbor...The one to catch?
Henny's Hurricane.

FOURTH RACE
Hillswick...If he runs to his Beyers he might have a slight edge here.
Radiohead...Scratched Monday when we rated him on top and wrote, "Check the PPs and one-turn on dirt might actually be his preferred game."
Leavenworth...Florida shipper has been in the mix more often than not this year.

Bellamy Roadster...Pletcher runner showing some OK turf works for debut.
Ezpz Lemon Squeeze...Has been working well for debut.
Chocolate Drops...MSW to mdn clm'r.

SIXTH RACE
Casanova Giant...Hmmm. Red flags on the drop - but should be competitive with these if remotely ready.
Won O Won...Should appreciate the return to grass.
Research Report...Another eligible to wake-up with the move in for a tag.

SEVENTH RACE - Scribner $75K
Cascadilla Falls...Looking for an effort more like the maiden-breaker than like the latest.
Doing Great...Got the wake-up call last time when moved to grass.
Funny Sunny...Could be tough if she takes to turf.
Sunlight Sonata.

EIGHTH RACE - NY Stallion $100K
Hessonite...Has been tough in similar competition.
Darrin's Dilemma...Early speed.
Freud's Honour...Won a small open stake on the MTH grass last time.
Wishingonastar.

NINTH RACE
Chanttoomuch...A little bit of breeding and some nice works.
Ventura Bar...MSW to mdn clm'r.
Speightscity...Again, breeding and works.
Knock Rock.

TENTH RACE LeadwithyourchinCould be a little tighter in second start of the season.
Midnite Silver...Hmmm, an OK fifth in a G1 to end last season. Off a long time and now makes second start back for $20K. Could go either way.
Cookram Rock...Two improving efforts so far in 2011.
