5-11. Winners in the 3rd [$4.80], 4th, [$5.50], 5th [$6.80], 7th [$6.20] and 11th [$5.00]. Also, the cold P3 R3-5 [$46.00/$2]. Boxing up the top four brought back the super in the 2nd [$655.00/$2]. Cold exacta in the 5th [$22.60]. And a few assorted other gimmicks if you played around with the selections during the day.

Folks finally realized the track is open! 30,048 attended and enjoyed a warm, sunny afternoon.

Wishful Tomcat...Speedy. First off the claim. Turf to dirt. Big jock change. Some things to like.
Show Trial...In good form.
Marquet Rebel...Hoping for a rebound with the class relief.

SECOND RACE
Bellacourt...A little-bit of win-early breeding and might benefit from the first-out education last time.
Erin Enchanted...Also has ion Heart on top and also might be getting better with experience.
Broman entry...Clever Spirit preferred with some breeding that interests.

THIRD RACE
Seattle Dynasty...Yessh - twenty-two time loser -- but hey, speed. Maybe she gets brave today.
Stormin Esther...'Fresh face' and Freud produces early winners.
City Look...We like City Zip on top.

FOURTH RACE
Professor Fate...Both the sire and trainer are win-early.
Afleet Bandit...might come out running.
Lionator...Another by Lion Heart.

FIFTH RACE
Singmeasong...MSW to mdn clmr.
Simsational...Same.
Turbo Tweaked...Has shown speed in previous turf sprints.

SIXTH RACE
Hyper...A couple of good tries at this level. Could be ready to pop.
Versailles Road...Will be heard from late.
Bishop of Nola...Likely the one to catch.

SEVENTH RACE
Emma's Posse...Here's another one of those. Can't recommend with confidence - can't ignore. The one to beat on the numbers - but the drop raises red flags.
Make Note...Another that might be a little classier than these.
Sheriff Bullock...Interesting on the move back to dirt.

EIGHTH RACE - Fourstardave G2 $150K
Sidney's Candy...Classy turf speedster has shifted base of operations to Pletcher and the east coast. Might run these off of their feet.
Blues Street...Pletcher was red-hot on Saturday.
Turallure...Big win in a small CD stake last time. A repeat would make him tough.

NINTH RACE - Ruffian Invy Hcp G1 $250K
Super Espresso...Has the turf clunker three back - otherwise seems to typically be in the hunt.
Payton d'Oro...Another that is often competitive - hitting the exacta in twelve of seventeen starts.
Absinthe Minded...Could be the one to catch.
Tiz Miz Sue.

TENTH RACE
Sky Nlue Pink...Godd fit and last couple indicate he'' be a strong contender.
Writingonthewall...Speed class dropper.
Hear the Footsteps...Trainer is a little chilly at the meet - but due to change that.
