Dark day. No racing.
$443K P6 carryover.
FIRST RACE
Brilliant Son...Was a near-miss when dropped to this level last time.
Felinefelon...A neck ahead of the top pick in that last race.
Subtitles...Taking a drop.
Spanky Fischbein/Surfing Ian.
King Andrew.
Motown Shuffle.
SECOND RACE
Flying Train/Ready and Good...Both halves look like they could be capable in first start - but Ready and Good is preferred with More Than Ready on top. It should be interesting either way with the two jocks battling for the meet title each getting a mount on this Pletcher entry.
Major Molly...Linda Rice firster is bred to go well in debut.
Blessed Moon...We like first-timers with Officer on top.
Mama Get Even.
THIRD RACE
Flourish...Good try in first of 2010. Dangerous if able to improve.
Dandyna...A little tough to read - but capable on best.
Mitigate...Some nice improvement when put into a similar race last time.
Sing My Song.
Deceive.
FOURTH RACE
Cool Coal Man...A solid lower-level stakes performer for Zito - in fact won a small stake here in a romp last year. Bullet work for this.
Giant Moon...Won a NY-bred stake here last time.
Timber Reserve...Won the last time he dropped out of stakes company.
Atoned.
Regal Ransom.
FIFTH RACE
Stroke...We'll take a shot with this one from Linda Rice. Eligible to improve in second start and with the move to grass.
Peat Bay...Stretches out after two nice sprints.
Naughty You...Seemed to show some appreciation for this turf last time.
Unique Tune.
SIXTH RACE
Devilish Due...Drops back down to a winning level.
Talk to Nick...Another dropping.
Dance Floor Maniac...Nice win here last time.
Run to Grand Ave.
SEVENTH RACE
Precious Metal...Has some win-early breeding. And trainer has been solid with firsters this season.
Cryin' Ryan...Some more win-early breeding.
Obviously Tuesday...Linda Rice with a turf sprinter.
Igoturback.
EIGHTH RACE - PG Johnson $70K
Avanta...Claim could pay quick dividends for Pletcher/Repole. Very tough race but this one might prove interesting going first-time for Pletcher and stretching out on the grass with Velazquez onboard.
Lauren Byrd...Uncoupled barnmate of the top pick won debut and could be this good.
Kathmanblu...Improved nicely when moved to grass.
Dos Lunas.
Believe in AP.
NINTH RACE
Winthrop House...A good second in a similar event here last time.
Sly...Just a smidge behind the top pick last time.
Crowned General... And just a smidge behind both of them.
Matt's a Giant.
Rocketing Returns.
Sumrun.
TENTH RACE
Stream of Gold...Looks like they've been shopping for a winning level over the last two and the good try last time seems to indicate he fits here.
Cinder Cone...There are perhaps some class and grass questions marks but he could be the one to catch.
Sharps Island...Jumps experiment seems to have been unsuccessful - and this guy might fit as this level on the flat. "Might" being a key word at this point in his career.
The Roundhouse.
