Yesterday

2-10. Winners in the 3rd [$4.40] and 10th [$15.20]. Also, in the 4th, a dead-heat for place allowed us to cash a B-A exacta [$17.60/$2]. In the 7th a C-B exacta [$18.00/$2]. Same thing in the 9th [$18.40].

Also worth noting that it was a little strange given the nice weather that we lost more of ours to scratched than would typically be expected -- in the 2nd and 3rd two of our four scratched and in the 5th we lost three of our selections.

10,455 attended a lazy, late summer afternoon of racing. It was a relaxed atmosphere after a big weekend and the weather was a little bit of unseasonably warm and humid for late August.

Monday evening a team a Saratoga jockeys took on local media in a charity softball game with the jock winning 28-22 - holding off a 9th inning rally by the opponents. Jock Channing Hill was the standout - rockin' the ball deep and making a roundtrip on a number of occasions.
