4-9. Winners in the 1st [$8.20], 5th [$15.00], 6th [$5.20], and 8th [$3.20]. Also, it was C-A [with 'A' being our top pick, 'B' our second selection, and so on...] for the $20.80/$2 exacta in the 2nd. And in the 6th it was A-C-B for the exacta [$31.00] and tri [$86.00].

13,027 attended. Weather was yet again Chamber-of-Commerce-perfect. Sunny and warm.

A large crowd attended the opeing night of the Fasig-Tipton yearling sales. Plenty of horsemen and racing media types were in the crowd enjoying the superbly updated facility - both inside and out.
