3-10. Three on top [1st, $4.40; 8th, $3.80; 10th, $7.80]. Otherwise, we didn't knock it out of the park. Our top three boxed for the tri in the 4th [$73.50/$2]. And it was our top choice over our third selection for the exacta in the 8th [$15.40].
Attendance was a solid 19,961 as the day started out promising to be what we all want and hope for -- a nice, sunny day. That continued until perhaps mid-card when some clouds moved in and -- inevitably it seems -- there was a brief shower just after the 7th. Things let up for awhile -- until a downpour that preceded the running of the nightcap. We guess that all you can do at this point is laugh. The forecast as we approach the weekend looks promising. Let's hope the last two and a half weeks brings the sunshine and warmth we've been longing for...
FIRST RACE
Fogcutter...First two jumps race showed some promise. Last raises some doubts -- but let's hope he got some education from that one.
Quem Se Atreve...Should be forwardly placed and just missed over this course last time.
Swagger Stick...Took a nice lead last time and got caught -- might be tighter today.
Look At Him.
SECOND RACE
Argyle Pink...Sire proving to be a precocious influence. Working well.
This Cat Can Dance...Also well-bred and working well.
Seminole Lass...Trainer can have them ready.
Cherokee Star.
THIRD RACE
Megapixel...Tough call between the top two -- this one gets a slight nod on good form and a third in a NY-bred stake last time.
Law Enforcement...Third start off layoff, Improved start #1 to start #2. Dangerous.
The Truffle Man...Took to the track with a lifetime best Beyer win last time.
Mr Windjammer.
FOURTH RACE
Artistic Talent...Could prove tough on the drop.
Kewland...AE lister. Also going MSW to mdn clm'r. Turf race was OK.

Magnificient Truth.
Laca.
Trickable.
On dirt: Artistic Talent, Laca, Je Suis Shiekh, Kewland, Calling My Colors, Trickable.
FIFTH RACE
African Storm...Rolling the dice here a little bit. This one might have gotten some decent education in the debut. Drops into a claimer. Picks up Chavez and wouldn't be surprised to see this one sent early and perhaps make the most of that strategy with the class relief.
Persian...Seems to be improving in each start.
Vinnies Wild Tale...Debut looks like one to build on.
Winitback.
Musca.
SIXTH RACE
War Ruler...Good second in a similar race here last time.
Georgian...Layoff is a concern but trainer is crafty and can have them ready.
New Member...Probably better than that last effort.
Ecton.
SEVENTH RACE
Radical Sabbatical...Solid debut last October. Will be tough if he shows any 2YO to 3YO improvement.
Sognatore...Could be ready first time out of the box.
Sharif Al Medina...Moved way up on the turf.
Lion's Circle.
On dirt: Rocky Engagement, Easy to Say No, DC Niner, Bayrod, Righteous Tiger, Lion's Circle.
EIGHTH RACE
Friday Meeting...They got ambitious with this one early -- but he's been OK the last two when more properly spotted.
Ya Think...AE lister. Two Ok starts at this level.
Phobia...Could be dangerous dropping in for a tag.
Allaboutmack.
Fiumes.
Go Lex Go.
EZ Dollar.
On dirt: Phobia, Go Lex Go, EZ Dollar, Charing Cross, Papa Jerry.
NINTH RACE - Saratoga Special G2
Lyin' Heart...Experience counts and he already has two nice stakes performances under his belt.
Reynaldothewizard...Expensive 2YO sale purchase in February and lived up to that price with the solid debut win. Could be any kind.
Run Away and Hide...Undefeated, including a G3 stake.
Break Water Edison.
TENTH RACE
Tom and Dicks Girl...Turf start was his best yet -- he should appreciate the return to the surface.
Love for a Price...Has shown some life in first two.
Magic Shop...Last wasn't much -- but has done OK in the past.
My Lovely Lark.
