Blackberry Road...Head-scratcher of a pick. We like the nice, improving Beyers shown earlier this summer -- but flopped off the layoff on the synthetic surface last time. We'll note the trouble there -- and pressing the pace early, which was a change. Hope for a rebound here in second start back.
Texas Forever...Looks like he's getting the hang of it.
TJs Posse...Could be interesting with a couple of stakes tries already on his resume.

Cry and Catch Me...Clearly the question mark is the trip. But Baffert filly looked good breaking maiden at 5.5F and has been working lights-out. If she can relax early she might run them off their feet late -- but relaxing early is a big "if".
Izarra...Nice closing punch in first two starts. Should be heard from in the lane.
Tasha's Miracle...Just shy of being undefeated. Won a G3 last time out and experience counts.

Lava Man...Is the heart winning out over the head? We love this horse -- and can't ignore the flop last time. Is he past his prime? We're betting that the Poly surface at Del Mar absolutely worked against his style. On the other hand this guy won the G1 Hollywood Gold Cup this summer over Cushion Track.
Lewis Michael...Seems to have shown an affinity for the synthetic surfaces -- although this one is somewhat different than what's he seen before.
Tiago...Another that ran very well on the Hollywood Cushion Track.
