Round Pond...Might be able to stalk and get first jump from behind anticipated speed duel.
Balletto...Another that might be running late.
Fleet Indian...Pro-tem leader of the division just hasn't seen the pace pressure she's likely to face today. Look at those 3/4 splits in her races this year -- she'll be pushed faster than that today. So it's going to be a good test of her true quality.
Teammate.
Wager: $5 WP on Round Pond.
...$2 exacta box top two.
...$1 tri box top three.
Latice...Still think this one has yet to show her best since arriving stateside. Today could be the day to step it up.
Honey Ryder...Look for a rebound off of the decent fourth to the monster Gorella in the G1 Bev D.
Film Maker...Only two races this season -- but both were good.
Angara.
Wager: $5 WP on Latice.
...$2 exacta box top two.
...$1 exacta box top four.
...$1 tri key Latice over next three.
...$1 tri key Honey Ryder over other three.
Silver Train...Loves the track and working well.
War Front...Hasn't missed an exacta in five starts this year. Just missed behind top pick in G2 Tom Fool.
Who's the Cowboy...Looked like a phenom blowing by the field after a poor start in Jersey-bred stake last time. Tested for class today but might be this good.
Henny Hughes.
Wager: $5 WP on Silver Train.
...$2 exacta box top two.
...$1 exacta box top four.
...$1 tri key Silver Train over next three.
English Channel...Just missed in this race last year as a 3YO facing elders. Has only gotten better this season. Expect a rebound off of fourth-place finish in G1 Arlington Million.
Freedonia...Euro filly facing the boys. Solid record in France says she might contend here.
Frost Giant...Another filly from across the pond. Her only real dud of a race was a flop behind the very talented George Washington. Lightly raced and could be good -- but she's taking a big step up.
Dreadnaught.
Wager: $5 WP on English Channel.
...$2 exacta box top two.
...$1 tri key English Channel over next three.
Dylan Thomas...Sure we're getting a little cute here -- but Bernardini has yet to step outside of the 3YO ranks, while this sophomore won a G1 against his elders last time out in Ireland. Will he take to the dirt? Big question mark. But if he does he might be able to stalk behind Bernardini and Wanderin Boy and pounce in the lane.
Bernardini...Clearly the one to beat off of the impressive string of wins. Has yet to face elders -- but we can hardly call this much of a test in that area. Would be no surprise in the short field and is a must-use on "Pick" tickets.
Wager: $5 exacta Dylan Thomas over Bernardini.
Coach Jimi Lee...Tepid vote in a contentious heat. In good form -- but his three wins this season were at Prairie Meadows. Must overcome the outside post.
Silver Wagon...Looks capable on best -- but shows only a couple of wins over the past two seasons. Gomez rides.
Kelly's Landing...Another that can get it done with his best effort -- just hard to predict when we'll see that.

...$1 exacta box top four.
...$1 tri box top four.
French Transition...This guy is interesting. They thought enough of him to debut in a salty restricted stake at Saratoga. Put in a decent run that day despite trouble. Second in follow-up. Adds blinkers today. Will need to step it up -- but it's Biancone/Leparoux and have a sneaking suspicion that we will see improvement.
Circular Quay...Impressed by the G3 Bashford Manor win. That made us look forward to his Saratoga contest -- where he took the G1 Hopeful with a sweeping move after a poor start. Certainly the one to beat but stretches to two turns and steps onto the Poly -- so there are some question marks.
Street Sense...Improving numbers with each start.
Great Hunter.
Wager: $5 WP on French Transition.
...$2 exacta box top two.
...$1 exacta box top four.
...$1 tri box top four.
Silent Name...Has been running well since arriving from France. Should be able to save ground and be heard from late.
Miesque's Approval...Has taken four of last five -- with only loss being a near-miss behind English Channel. But this race look tougher than most of those.
Aussie Rules...Has been facing some good ones in Europe.
Remarkable News.
Wager: $5 WP on Silent Name.
...$2 exacta box top two.
...$1 exacta box top four.
...$1 tri box top four.
Aragorn...Solid 4YO season -- 5-3-2-0. Hard to go beyond in current form and in this field.
Buckland Manor...Long layoff is a concern -- but came off the bench to run third in this race last year.
Wild Buddy...Plenty of early speed and ran second to top pick last time.
Lord Admiral.
Wager: $5 WP on Aragorn.
...$2 exacta box top two.
...$1 exacta box top four.
...$1 tri box top four.
Lava Man...He's been a monster this year. Best in SoCal until beaten.
Super Frolic...Been behind the top pick last couple but running well.
Giacomo...Put in a bullet work in prep for this and looks capable of clunking up for a piece.
Magnum.
Wager: $5 WP on Lava Man.
...$2 exacta box top two.
...$1 exacta box top four.
...$1 tri box top four.
Bordonaro...Had win-streak broken in a controversial non-DQ at Del Mar last time. Re-unites with P Val.
Pure as Gold...Bested top pick in that controversial race two back. Faded slightly going longer last time. Looks like the one to contend with again today.
Thor's Echo...Working well and might be ready to roll in second start since Dubai excursion.
Spellbinder.
Wager: $5 exacta Bordonaro over Pure as Gold.
...$10 exacta box top two.
...$1 tri key Bordonaro over next three.
Bright One...One of those 3YOs that seems to pop up every year -- got a late start but has been impressive and is padding his resume with these "B-level" Derby's.
Star Dabbler...Broke maiden in early May then took a short break and came back with a huge win at Saratoga. Followed by running second to Henny Hughes in G1 King's Bishop. Could be interesting on the stretchout.
Lewis Michael...His best chance is getting out to the front -- which will be a chore from the post.
Dr Pleasure.
Wager: $5 WP on Bright One.
...$2 exacta box top two.
...$1 exacta box top four.
...$1 tri box top four.
