This is our last week of C2C before we take our annual hiatus to concentrate on daily, full-card handicapping of the Saratoga meet. Let's see if we can go out with a bang!

Chowder's First...Showed some promise as a 3YO. Did OK last season with a limited schedule. There's some potential here and maybe he'll live up to it in his second start of 2006 -- on the other hand, he might need one or two more before hitting his best stride. Hmmm...
Dont Knock America...Solid on his best effort. Can use almost any pace strategy. In good form now. Things to like.
Lord Langfuhr...Won pretty easily the last time he was teamed with Chavez.

Pine Island...Lightly raced Phipps/McGaughey filly just missed in stakes debut. Could prove formidable with that experience under her belt.
Unbridled Belle...Pletcher filly turned the corner at Delaware -- need to see her win as convincingly elsewhere however.
Sugar Shake...Took her awhile to graduate -- but last couple indicate she's in good form.

Love Locket...Ran a lifetime top Beyer in seasonal debut. Could prove tough if able to improve in second start as a 3YO.
For Kisses...Showed plenty of promise this winter. Might bee ready to return to that good form with the grass race as a "waker-upper".
Saratoga Drive...Finds a little class relief in here.

Red Fort...Has been knocking heads with some of the best in SoCal. Might find this bunch easier.

Louve Royale...Seems like an improved 5YO.
Atlantic Frost...Won a prep for this in first start of season. Note the interesting DRF stat showing the trainer as 3-3 in second start of a similar layoff with a huge ROI. Food for thought.
Royal Copenhagen...Shipped here from SoCal to win a stake last fall.

Stream Cat...Brought a two-race streak into the Colonial Turf Cup -- but wacky pace scenario in that race left him sputtering a little. Liable rebound here.
Union Avenue...Mott 3YO is improving nicely in limited starts.
Outperformance...Like top pick -- expect better than was shown at Colonial.

Amorama...Frankel trainee has been a little disappointing so far this year and has only one win over last two seasons -- but the near-miss in latest might signal she's ready to pop.
